Agave Barbecue Sauce

Serves: 8

   1/2 cup minced onions
   1 clove garlic, minced
   1 tablespoon vegetable oil
   1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
   1/2 cup agave
   2 tablespoons vinegar
   2 tablespoons minced parsley
   1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
   1/4 teaspoon black pepper
   1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Agave Barbecue Sauce is from the Cook'n with Agave collection.

Sauté onion and garlic in oil until softened. Add remaining ingredients and bring mixture to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Marinate beef, chicken or pork in sauce. Brush on meat during barbecuing or broiling.
